Trail Run in Prachinburi

We took our running up a notch by entering this Columbia 10k trail run in Prachinburi, about 2 hours NE of Bangkok. It is near the popular Khao Yai national forest, hilly and hot of course.

We drove ourselves which was SO FUN! Being able to stop and pee on demand is a real joy. 

The run was quite hard. I was not ready for the hills and suffered up them. The flat parts were really fun, we darted in and out of forests, up ravines, and down some dangerously steep slopes.

I think this video sums it up better than I ever could though. 

Note: We chose the 10K distance, and it was labeled as such everywhere. Until we got to the 10K mark and the finish line was nowhere to be seen. A disheartening 1.3 K later, we finished.
