This is the story of how life can change too fast. From Asian beaches to Irish chemo wards, we document it here.
Hannah and Rebecca moved to Melbourne in 2008.
Glad you liked the pics, I had such a great time in Cali and Fiji. Australia is great too, but because everything is so similar, the people have the same personalities to the Irish and English, and the culture is very similar too so the excitement wares off quickly. But, they are very well dressed here, the fashion is good, and the men are better looking, have yet to find where the rugby men hang out, but I am hoping their bar is around the corner!
Hannah is working nights this week so I am all alone, but I actually don't mind, I have the Internet now and I could be on here for hours on end. We only have 5 channels on the TV, and most of the time 3 of them are sports, and no DVD player so I am finding out all sorts of new things, and I love it.
Byron Bay is the coolest little beachside town, slightly hippyish, but everyone is really laid back and there is loads of surfing and relaxing going on. Sam and I are going surfing tomorrow and then going to Brisbane for the day on Friday, and then Helen and i are just going to relax on the beach for the weekend. the sun here is SO much stronger though, you can feel it burning your skin, although it has been cloudy and overcast so you don't think your getting burnt, but you do. When we arrived it was raining and we thought we were going to have another Cairns holiday, but it has warmed up and it just rains every hour or so. Its nice just to be able to relax and have no where to go or be and everyone isn so friendly and chilled. Will send some pictures in the nest email!
