Bangkok remembers Rebecca
Our wonderful friends and former colleagues in Bangkok took a tour along the Chao Praya to remember and celebrate Rebecca. They laid orange flowers in the river, drank, and shared stories.
After disembarking, they were amazed to hear a busker playing “Country Roads”!
Thank you to Jacqui for her wonderful organizing and video skills.
It was great to see representatives from Thai GAA, The Irish Women’s group, Minor Hotels and other lovely people who made our time in Thailand more fun.
Throwing orange flowers into the river was a great idea. They are easy to get in Bangkok as they are used in temples to show respect or make merit. Above, the team from Minor hotels gets into the spirit.
